What's cookin'?

I made this AWESOME recipe for Graham Cracker Toffee where you put graham crackers on the bottom, a smooth caramelly mixture second, then chopped nuts (then bake for 10 minutes), then semi-sweet chocolate drizzled on the top. It is SO good. So good, in fact, that the day after I made it, we took half to the neighbor’s because we couldn’t stop eating it. I don’t want to turn into a Weeble wobble, and you probably don’t either, so maybe think about making it for a group…. I added the link to my Facebook, so not only can you get the recipe, but check out this cool foodie site I found.

Yesterday George and I went for a 4 hour hike. We explored and hunted for elk sheds, but didn’t find anything. Ended up sitting on the edge of a pasture watching two eagles ride the thermals up, up and around, around; seemingly without effort. They didn’t flap their wings at all, just rode the thermals. We were spellbound by it.

Holly is back from Barra Navidad, Mexico and I’m excited to see her pictures. She called this morning and said they had a fabulous time and that it was HOT there. Wow.

I need to finish wrapping some coffee bean scrub soap to deliver to Amy’s new salon, Four Feathered Sparrow. Must do that ASAP as I’m going to Walla Walla soon. Yippee!

Mom is going back up to Spokane to get chemo ports - it’s an outpatient procedure. They will stay there overnight and hopefully be back the next evening. That will give me some time to be with her before our Fat Tire get together -- can't wait!

Take extra special care, ya hear?
