Tons of wildlife to photograph

It's been awhile!

So much beauty to enjoy in northeastern Oregon! Got some great photos of one young bear close up while he was eating berries in an adjacent tree (he was bending over backwards to reach berries on another tree). 10 or so bighorn sheep, mostly female so far, but the males won't be far behind. Elk are bugling so loud at night from across the canyon hear them clearly. Mating season has begun...

Steelheaders have arrived to camp and catch the big one(s). The rivers are incredibly clear and beautiful, as always. It's definitely time for me to fetch my fishing stuff and get down to the water.

There is always beauty here; so plentiful we get keeper photographs every day. We're planning a wildlife photography safari for the spring - wildflowers are numerous and exquisitely lovely then; morel mushrooms were plentiful last year.
