Time to eat healthier

Ooh, that campfire felt so good!

It's morning and I'm having a lot more coffee before I shower.

Did I mention anything about the leather sewing machine George and I purchased from a pre-estate sale in Enterprise recently? Very cool. In fact, I'm going to ask Rene' if she will refresh our memories on how to make moccasins, because we would LOVE to try making them. (This may be a great way to be creative while making extra money!) George and I love the moccasins Rene' made for us some years back - mine are red, knee-high, with a beaded yellow sunflower design (beaded by Rene') on the front of each moccasin.

I'm so hungry for some good, healthy food. Maybe I'll make a hearty hamburger soup today. I was hankering for homemade chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies, but my blup blups should not be allowed to take those on, so soup it is. I wonder how many times it will take me running up and down the hill before I am a svelte doe, like Pig's twin cousins? Right now I feel like an overstuffed armchair. I knew I shouldn't have eaten that chili with onions. What a poor lunch choice. I miss Fo.

Mom is doing well. She has her half-sister, Anne, from Oregon, visiting this week (she is the one who is living with breast cancer) and so has good company. She said Anne is giving her valuable information about what to expect when she goes through chemo, etc. Mom sounded confident and brave on the phone today. She is so awesome (I've always thought so).

Must run to take the dogs out. Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Please take care, OK?
