We're taking care of rabbits for the scientist named Chuck. He and Karen, his wife, went to New York today as Chuck has been invited to participate in a debate for Intelligence Squared. (http://www.intelligencesquared.com). He'll be debating about his passion: organics. Anyway, he owns cages of baby bunnies and mommies in a giant bunny barn. They are so cute! We'll be caring for them and their place while they're away. Karen knits the MOST BEAUTIFUL SWEATERS. Not only that, but she dyes her yarn with flower petals sometimes. The one she showed me was dyed with marigold petals! I hope I can hold still long enough to make a sweater some day.

Two other retired couples have asked George to take care of their places, so that will be great, plus I'm going to start making moccasins as soon as our thread and needles arrive in the big mailbox. I'm sooo looking forward to starting that.

Have invited some hungry men to dinner, so must go and determine what to serve. I have a pineapple upside down cake for dessert. Think they'll like that?
